I’m Christopher (Chris) Hutchins, a healthcare AI executive and consultant. I founded Hutchins Data Strategy Consultants to help healthcare organizations establish practical AI governance, strengthen data readiness, and adopt AI responsibly. I also host The Signal Room and write AI Health Pulse.
Story behind the work
For more than a decade, I've sat at the intersection of clinical operations, data programs, and the executives accountable for both. The pattern that keeps repeating: the technology rarely fails on its own — governance, data quality, and leadership conversations fail first, and the technology is blamed.
Hutchins Data Strategy exists to fix that. The Signal Room exists to surface it. Beneath the Signal exists to put both into the hands of the people deciding.
